Chamonix Banqiao Minsheng — Restaurant in New Taipei

They have an interesting take on teppanyaki but I fully enjoyed their dining experience except for the part where they are busy, fully booked and affected our timing...

We ordered the set dinner. It's quite inclusive and you get everything, right from the starter, soup, mains, drinks and dessert. This is teppanyaki so everything is cooked in front of your eyes. Nothing fancy so don't expect movie level spinning contraptions in the air, flicking food kind of show. 😁

To be honest, I have nothing to complain. The taste is sublime. Light and balanced. All of their food are flavoured this way. So it's going to come down to what your palate is used to. If you come from a place with heavy accented excess salt and spice, you will find this bland. I however liked it as the light handling allows you to taste the original ingredient taste. Not to mention healthier too.

We ordered a few beef dishes in our group and they prepared it in 2 rounds. First round is according to what you wished (rare, medium, well done). After you taste it, your second round will be prepared adjusted based on your feedback to the first round. The amount they give you is super generous. I was filled to the brim and literally maximized my stomach capacity.

Coming to the dessert, they have a separate room for the group to sit at. Their concept is a better environment for the group to converse at, since the seating in front of the cook teppanyaki style doesn't lend the group the arrangement for a proper conversation. However, due to their fully booked situation, we had to wait at least 30 min from the completion of our meal to get to our dessert table. It was a strange thing to do. Sitting around an empty cooking area with nothing to do. They should just offer to serve the dessert at the table I think rather than making us wait so long for a table to clear up at the dessert section.

Barring the dessert blip, I had a great meal. Comfortable environment, efficient friendly staff, good cooking and tasty food. I would love to come again for a meal and hopefully not encounter the dessert table...

it's a posh takenyaki restaurants where you chose your appetiser, soup, salad and main courses. you also get to chose your after meal drinks and dessert, which are served away from the hot plates area. non alcoholic champagne were served throughout with lime slushy. fried rice freshly cooked can be eaten as many as you want. just tell your server. their fish eggs spread also tastes great with their bread. if you go on your birthday they gave you a birthday cake and a photo to help celebrate your birthday. 香檳 甜甜微氣泡，大人小孩都可以喝。

帕馬森起司麵包 沒有很濃的起司味，可以無限續，搭配龍蝦沙拉醬滿新奇。

清檸茴香奶油鮑魚&松露蒸蛋 香味淡不明顯，但是不錯。

北海道干貝海鮮清湯 湯頭鮮甜，不小心就喝完了。

法式牛肝菌牛肉清湯 很一般的牛肉湯味~

煙燻鮭魚乳酪沙拉 很喜歡濃而不膩的乳酪配煙燻鮭魚和水果甜味沙拉醬。

嫩煎松露菲力 熟嫩度很剛好，搭配蒜片很好吃。

法式羊小排 羊排配莓果醬被甜味強烈衝突到很怪，但骨頭另外照燒很好吃。

櫻花蝦炒飯 炒的很香!每口蝦卵在嘴裡爆開太好吃啦!

夏日帕菲 水果雪酪酸甜好吃!

覆盆子檸檬乳酪 餅乾又乾又不好吃，乳酪也不濃。

布蕾風味冰咖啡 奶蓋拿鐵很有層次，喝起來香濃。

生日蛋糕 巧克力慕斯很濃郁好吃

Champagne Sweet and slightly bubbly, it can be drunk by adults and children.

Parmesan Bread It doesn't have a strong cheese flavor, and can more bread. It's a novelty to serve with lobster salad dressing.

Lemon Fennel Creme Abalone & Truffle Steamed Egg The scent is faint and unnoticeable, but nice.

Scallop Seafood Soup The soup was so sweet that I accidentally finished it.

French Porcini Mushroom and Beef Soup It's a normal beef soup~

Somked Salmon and Cheese Salad Loved the thick but not greasy cheese with smoked salmon and fruity sweet salad dressing.

Sauteed Tenderloin Steak with Truffle The cooked tenderness was just right and it was delicious with sliced garlic.

French Lamp Rib The lamb chops with berry compote were weird and clashed strongly with the sweetness, but otherwise the teriyaki bone was delicious.

Sakura Shrimp Fried Rice It's so flavorful! Every bite of the shrimp eggs exploded in my mouth, so delicious!

Summer Parfait Fruit sorbet are sweet and sour ~ delicious!

Raspberry Lemon Cheese Cake The biscuits were dry and unappetizing, and the cheese was not thick.

Creme Brulee Latte The milk-cover latte is very layered and flavorful.
