正所謂「大隱隱於市」,在人車往來頻繁的大坪林捷運站斜對面,竟存在一間老牌卻高貴而不貴的西餐廳,令人印象深刻。
當年讀大學時,首次與家人一起來用餐,便感到驚訝萬分,身在北部都會區,能以如此平實的價格,提供超越許多西餐廳的美味餐點且份量十足,不禁讓人懷疑老闆是否有賺錢!
這次點的沙朗牛排套餐:先送上新鮮現打的黑木耳露,健康又爽口;之後的沙拉雖相對簡單,但有螺肉片可轉換口感,也是令人欣喜的一品;緊接而來的焗烤田螺,軟嫩中帶有些許嚼勁,外面包裹著滿滿的白醬及焦脆乳酪,真是讓人陶醉,更何況其他餐廳單點動輒兩百元起跳,真是物超所值;再來的鴨賞切片鹹香夠味,當開胃小點甚是經典;濃湯使用自製千層酥皮,而非市售酥皮,看得出餐廳的用心;主餐的沙朗牛排,推測是先舒肥、後煎製,肉軟嫩多汁、油入口即化、筋微軟彈牙,與一般沙朗牛排咬不爛的筋相比,高出不只一個檔次;結尾的冰黑咖啡苦中回甘,且香味醇厚,搭配奶油小蛋糕食用,凸顯出鮮奶油的香氣,為這餐畫上完美的。。
總體而言,前三名的餐點,莫過於前菜、湯、主菜,光這三樣菜式就對得起529元的價格,但除此之外還有五樣表現得宜的配餐,讓整組套餐顯得更加豐富且完整,實在無可挑剔。
最後想說的是現在很多一次店、西餐店,都是普通的料理,卻企圖以難吃的配餐來掩飾,應該感到慚愧!貧乏的執行力和技巧的沉迷,都是西餐的致命傷!那些店都沒有評分的必要! ...
