I was starting to become a regular customer. I had told some friends about the cafe and also I always tipped the service staff. I feel that I conducted myself in a friendly manner. However, one afternoon the boss or friends of the boss spoke very loudly and rudely about me without any provocation, perhaps presuming that I cannot understand Mandarin. Come on guys, this is 2025, if you want to talk rudely about foreigners in secret then at least speak Hokkien. Anyway, I'll look on the bright side, I learned a new phrase in Chinese: 恩将仇报

Coffee seems to be standard price for Taipei and was quite good. Vibes are weird but looks like a good place to have drinks. Had the coffee there instead. Excellent coffee! If you want something really interesting and special ask the barista for his recommendation (off-menu). He has a relationship with an incredible roaster and the coffee is honestly the most delicious and complex cup I have had. Really nice guy too! Restaurant can accommodate large tables, didn't try the food, but the off-menu pour-over...
