Very Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Shilin District

I’ve been to this restaurant many times. I’ve enjoyed every time and keep coming back for more The food is high quality and the menu is large and varied to suit a range of tastes. I really enjoy the papaya salad made spicy. Since I don’t eat seafood they are kind enough to make it without shrimp for me. Much appreciated 🙏. The BBQ pork and the red beef curry are always on my order. I’ve enjoyed lots of other dishes and found them all to be flavorful. They have several types of rice including a red local version I hadn’t seen before. Very interesting. Portions are a good size for sharing. They have a big selection of beer 🍺👍The service is very efficient and the servers pay attention to their tables. tl;dr: If you see the guy in the pic, AVOID AT All COSTS. I've been here a bunch of times but today I was shocked by the incredibly poor service. This guy first told us there was no more rice. When we said that that was fine and still wanted to eat there, he told us that the wait would be 20 mins since they needed to clean the (already clean) empty tables.

Even during peak hours, the staffs here go above and beyond to make sure the food and services are excellent. Food is delicious and well-packed for takeouts.
