大王麻辣乾麵-永福總店 — Restaurant in Taichung

We were really full by the time we got to this restaurant but the noodles were yummy enough that all of us had one (small) bowl each. Very simple dish of noodle + a protein but really hit the flavour spot for us.

The 轻辣 (light spice) did seem equivalent to 小辣 (small spice) (if you're a regular 麻辣香锅 mlxg eater in Singapore). For people who really enjoy their spice, my dad thought 中辣 was yummy but said he would've gone up to 重辣 if he had...

Had the mince meat sauce noodles, the shredded pork noodles, and wontons. Didn't take any spice levels because I want to avoid a nuclear incident in the toilet later (my stomach is quite weak). Food is delicious!! Especially the wontons! Would definitely come here again for the wontons and the mincemeat noodles again!! Wontons come in a batch of 6 but they looked so good (and taste incredible) that I forgot to take the pic...

· the more spicy = the more $$$

· i like their dry noodles (chewy texture and fragrant)

· soup tasted flavorful and rich in bone broth

· small spicy was honestly just right for me (more spicy would have upset my stomach)

tldr: very high cp value for cheap dry...
