I don't normally leave such a negative comment but the appalling service and complete lack of care by the staff at this store deserves a zero star rating.
From the beginning, this restaurant doesn't explain properly that customers need to pay before being served food. I arrived at 12:02pm, was told to go to Table 7 upstairs, ordered via the QR code (which also doesn't say you need to pay before being served food, and has no electronic payment option). At 12:17pm, a waitress came to tell me unapologetically that I haven't paid so they can't process my order. So I had to go downstairs to pay. I told the lady at the counter that this is not a friendly policy and they should provide clearer instructions to customers. She was also unapologetic and simply did not care.
It took them another 30 minutes to bring me my order, at 12.47pm. There was no apology for the long wait.
I ordered the beef curry with rice. It was terribly salty, and the beef was tough and chewy. The meal costed me NT430.
Overall, this restaurant is a must go if you want to experience poor customer service, insufficient explanation of restaurant policy, very inconvenient and unreasonable pay before you eat policy, lack of care and attention, terrible food at a steep price.
I certainly won't be...

Located within the China Medical University campus, in a small alley between the park and Jianxing Road, this restaurant features a style inspired by the renovation of an old house. Although it's an old building, it's clear that it was once a small mansion with a courtyard. Customers can also park their bikes by the main gate.
Although the restaurant is short-staffed and a wait is unavoidable, the staff are friendly and polite, maintaining their patience throughout. Once seated, you can scan the QR code to place your order. After the order is delivered, proceed to the counter to pay.
I ordered the Tomi Karaage Chicken Burger Patty for NT$400 and the Black Curry Fried Shrimp Karaage Burger Patty for NT$450. The meal itself came with a corn soup. For an additional NT$50, I upgraded to Set A, which included rice (with one free refill) and a drink (pay the difference if the total spend exceeded $50). For an additional $100, I added a dessert of toasted sugar French toast.
The Tomi sauce wasn't as distinctive, not as good as the black curry, with a hint of sweetness and spice. It was quite appetizing when drizzled over rice, so delicious that I needed a refill of rice. The handmade beef burger and other fried items were average, nothing special. I was impressed with the French toast. Drenched in egg broth, it tastes crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a slightly pudding-like texture, even better than the other handmade pudding. It would be a shame to miss this dish.
