Hai Hua — Restaurant in Taichung

On the 7th jan we went to have dinner at hai hua at 7.50pm. There were only 3 tables with less than 10 customers. After we settled at a table close to the window to find the ceiling light was shinning down right at us. We requested to change the table. We waited for 17min but no one came. We called loudly to the waitress. There was only one waitress for the whole hall! In the end we moved to another table ourself. Real joke! Food was average, serving was no good(lack of staff). I will not step inside ever again. Spoiled...

Update - the food is still well made, but the service quality has dropped dramatically. The new staff seems untrained and the management is not as attentive as before.

The December special set for two has many popular options from their normal menu. A lot of food, we had 4 adults and could barely finish all when we only ordered additional 2 small dishes. Service was good as well, very friendly and timely. Very decent dim sum restaurant in Taichung with parking lot...
