Mr.38 咖哩美食餐廳（一中店) — Restaurant in Taichung

Curry specialized restaurant, i have seen so many review about this restaurant. Finally i have a chance to eat here with my GF :) I don't really remember the restaurant decoration, maybe because i'm too hungry that time, and not focused on taking photo or anything else, the only thing in my head was filling my stomach ^3^

Pork Cutlet Cheese Curry Omelette Rice (280 NT) This look so fabulous, especially when you can clearly see the cheese inside the pork cutlet melting slowly... such a mouth-watering scene~ As you can see in the picture, they also give some fresh sliced cabbage and small tomato cut in half in order to cut the grease of fried pork cutlet, and the pork cutlet itself was served on steel net so that it won't stick on the plate (not look so oily either). The curry taste very good too, and the omelette is so smooth. Both of the curry and omelette support each other and brings you unforgettable flavor. They also give you miso soup (if i'm not wrong), and some of mustard sauce, not so bad to eat it with the pork cutlet. Nice food~

Fried Curry Tofu (70 NT) -- i forget to take a photo, so i just catch some picture from 「MR.38 Curry Website」.. please forgive me T.T At first, i thought i would be some tofu with curry filling, but hahaha... it's only some fried tofu served with curry sauce which is the same curry as we order with no.1 dish~ kind of disappointed, but telling the truth it's not bad either. The tofu come with dried bonito flakes (i believe dried bonito flakes lover would love it) become a good combination (but my GF don't like seafood things T.T).

For those who like curry should come and try it at least for once, i myself also love to go there again to taste another main...

The pork chop used to be large and plentiful. Now this is what it looks like instead... Some sad, shrunken, mutated looking spectacle. It looks like it was dropped on the floor, trodden on, abused, given as a chew toy to the dog, and then had parts of a different pork chop grafted onto it to try and breathe some life back into it. Avoid Mr 38, it's as bad as it looks and sells disappointment...

Okay service. But No free wifi. Where was the wifi signal. Rice was cold Beef curry saw 3 pieces of beef, and they were a bit fatty. Vegetables were a joke. 1 potato piece (bit size), 2 pieces of broccoli, rest was a couple carrots and I think some sort of zuchini. Pretty disappointed. Cannot see how this plave gets above 4 stars. I am being generous with...
