Pizza is decent, service is hit-or miss. Tonight I went on a tough hike and came to Pizza Rock. I thought about calling since it was getting close to 9PM, but I knew I was close enough to make last call (despite traffic). I walked in, full backpack, exhausted and starving at 8:55, and the girl glances at her watch and tells me they are closed (didn't even say sorry, either). I glanced at my watch, said, "....o...kaaaay". I walked outside and looked again at the '9pm last call' sign painted on the door.

This wasn't the first time it's happened. 9 PM is too early for last pizza call, anyway. I've worked in many pizza places and never closed before 10pm, maybe last...

The food is best if you go to the shop.

The chicken wings are pretty big and the sauces are unique and tasty and a little spicy (recommended if you like chicken wings). Eat them while they are hot (but not too hot). The chips are not as good but if you are looking for quantity, this order has a LOT of tortilla chips. One of the most in Taichung. For some reason, chips are not available for delivery.

Pizza is better than the global chain restaurants with a standard to thin crust, slightly salty sauce (yum!) and good toppings. Meat lovers, chorizo, pepperoni are all good. Newest flavor is spicy salami but it was sold out so not sure how it...

The place is quite decent and clean. Very tourist friendly with English menu available. Their staffs are also friendly and can speak English, which is not very common in Taichung.

We try their soup, spicy chorizo pizza (solo size) and their shrimp and mushroom baked pasta. The price is reasonable and the serving is just right. The food also taste good. My favorite is their baked pasta with the fresh shrimp.

Opening hour is 11:30 to 21:30 and they also have wifi available....

Their staffs are also friendly and can speak English, which is not very common in Taichung. We try their soup, spicy chorizo pizza (solo size) and their shrimp and mushroom baked pasta. The price is reasonable and the serving is just right. The food also taste good. My favorite is their baked pasta with the fresh shrimp. Opening hour is 11:30 to 21:30 and they also have wifi available. Come try too!

Was so happy they were open during Chinese New Year cuz so many places were closed. I was surprised how cheap their pizza was! A small one was the perfect size for me. I was also pleased to get a gingerale which is hard to find in restaurants. We sat outside cuz it was so nice. I enjoyed the music as well. If you're ordering a beer, make sure you specify the size or they might bring you the big one by default. I'll be back next time I'm in taizhong.
