Moving from the USA to Taiwan, it was difficult to find good pizza. PIZZA STARTER'S pizza is not just the best pizza in Taiwan, but one of the best pizza restaurants I have ever been to in my life (and I'm saying this as someone who has eaten pizza in Italy and other Mediterranean countries).
The selection of pizza flavors are delicious (especially the California flavor pictured below in green: their signature pizza). The owners are also the kindest people you will ever meet. They gave me the special small olive pizza pictured below because I eat there a lot and they know I like olives.
Also worth mentioning is that they allow you to mix two flavors on one pizza, and that their fries and salads taste excellent and supplement the pizza well. They also have imported beer from places like Spain and Belgium.

Read moreThis is a ridiculous restaurant who ultimately relies on a precious corner local-only reputation. We found this place because of reviews and they requested we not be late. We arrive at 6:15 for a 6:30 reservation and were told to come back at 6:30. We could not even pre order ahead of our reservation. It’s run by two unprofessional people and I hope they go out of business because of poor business practice.
We left without thinking too much.
Edit: The shop owner replies below that we were asked to leave? Again a categorical lie and completely demonstrates poor business practice. I see the followup reviews but I never asked anyone to leave. We asked if we could preorder and when told it was impossible we left. Another reviewer said he/she could not even use the bathroom because the order was takeout. Just beware if you are not prepared to follow...
Read moreThis was my first time there, as I didn’t know what to eat in the afternoon, I was craving for some pizza. Found out that there was this pizza place near my house. The owner recommended me half / half pizza. Which mean you can have two different kinds of flavor pizza. So I chose the ‘Night Market’ and she recommended me “the California.” Both flavors are awesome with its own unique flavors. The pizza dough is thin crust which is perfect! I also ordered the fried jalapeños, it was so good and since it was fried, it was so fluffy and crispy! You got to try it if you like spicy food.
Overall, I was really impressed with their pizza and I was really surprised that the owners are so young! I thought they look like college students. Well done girls!
I will surely definitely go back to try their...
