Salt and Pepper Restaurant — Restaurant in Taichung

We visited Salt and Pepper Restaurant for the 1st time, and I had a fantastic birthday dinner! The dining area is spacious and clean. The atmosphere is modern and chic.

All the dishes are very delicately prepared and absolutely delicious! The pork chop, and it was tender and perfectly seasoned! My husband had a seafood risotto, and the ingredients were all fresh and amazingly tasty! My daughter had a truffle risotto, and she enjoyed every bite of it. My son said his clam pasta was phenomenal! We highly recommend the seafood soup as well!

The team at Salt and Pepper Restaurant is cheerful and courteous! They make the guests feel welcome when they walk in. Our waitress is wonderful and super sweet! She gave me a surprise with a birthday treat: a flan (custard pudding with sweet caramel sauce), which was delicious and irresistible!

Thank you for making my birthday dinner an unforgettable experience!. We highly recommend Salt and Pepper Restaurant, and will definitely be back...

I used to love salt and pepper restaurant, but their service has gone downhill. I made a takeout reservation through Ichef an hour before I arrived, but when I got there, the server told me casually that they don’t accept any takeout orders. They did not bother to call me or cancel my reservation online. I wasted half an hour driving there and picking up my kids, who were looking forward to their favorite spicy chicken dish. The name of the restaurant is very cute but definitely not the food….. We ordered two sets of combo and two single items! It turned out only salads were ok! Rest of the dishes was …… 🥲. All the seafoods are over cooked, the risotto….no no! I don’t even want to keep going … we are here for birthday lunch and the lunch part was terrible .. My opinion is order salad with corn soup and get yourself a slice of their tea tiramisu! That’s it! I will never ever order their main dishes…. The server was nice!
