I just had an amazing dinner at V Di JA! every dish was so delicious I feel like I should pay another visit tomorrow!
The restaurant name is actually Taiwanese when you try to sound it out.. “覓遞家” which literally means “hiding here.” Very fitting considering they’re nestled in a not so popular plaza with residential buildings on the top. I can tell they spent a lot of time researching each ingredient by the details they dive into on the menu.
What I ordered: Fried free range chicken (Japanese karage style) beef bolognese gnocchi with cubed chuck steak Pan-fried duck breast on taro risotto (Taiwanese style)
Upgrading to a set (includes pumpkin soup, appetizer, and dessert) beer
Everything was beyond amazing. They fried the gnocchi (Italian style containing potatoes) so perfectly that it was soft on the inside but a slight crunch on the surface. It reminded me of the Chinese fried flour balls “雙胞胎”, a nice depiction of western/ eastern fusion.
I can go on and on about every dish, but I don’t want to spoil it for everyone. Service was great, cute decorations of each chef’s travel adventures, and nice music (because it’s what I have on my playlist).
The price is extremely fair. In fact, I’ve just dubbed it “the best bang for the buck” in town. Overall, very worth the try! I highly recommend...

Wow. Wow. Double wow. Nicely done. Crispy on the outside while retaining juicy and moisture. Perfect medium.
Pasta made of potatoes was a treat. The flavors were totally absorbed and abundant.
A must visit if you are in the neighborhood. Or if you are not, would make your while to drive here just...

澎湃的料理手法。 層次豐富,每一口讓我深深的感動呢! 尤其是這短腳章魚。 數量給的真不少呢! 除了娘娘不吃章魚(一整個賺到的感覺)。
分食後,結果藏在手工麵裡頭還有呢! 那股微酸的清甜感。 有發現是鳳梨心呢! 原來番茄醬搭配上鳳梨。 是如此的美味。 再來就是,這吸附上滿滿醬汁的自製手工麵。 軟Q有勁道唷!
對於往往都選擇白醬,或清炒為主的我。 這紅醬,好不一樣的讓人喜歡。

那細膩又軟嫩的油封鴨肉呀~ 鹹香拿捏得宜。 是盤會讓人捨不得放下湯匙的美味。 尤其是這繽紛的配菜。 不光是顏色吸睛呢! 入口那豐富感立即湧現。 原來如此台灣味的芋頭飯。 也能這般西式的來呈現。

這牛排的熟度😍我可以。 尤其是友人極為推薦的糙米麵。
十分帶勁的又討喜Q彈感呢! 好不一樣的麵條口感來呈現。

實在濃湯,今天是全玉米濃湯。 新鮮現打玉米粉,果然香氣十足。 還有可愛的爆米花來點綴唷!
個性前菜,尤其是這煎的恰恰恰的芋頭糕呀~ 底下還用了豆漿沙拉來固定。
帶籽又帶皮的南瓜,怎麼可以如此的美味呢! 原來芭樂很適合法國麵包呢🤣🤣。 是不是,真的給他有個性。
最後就是親愛的極推的提拉米蘇。 說是自己寶貝一吃成主顧呢! 果不其然,沒錯。 尤其是邊邊接口處。 綿密的蛋糕體呢! 苦甜中的酒香感。 吃完真的想大喊【帶我走】。
還有我選擇的檸檬乳酪蛋糕。 當蛋糕一上桌時。 喔喔~ 好感動的盤飾甜點來呈現。
蛋糕本體酸酸惹人愛。 哈哈! 我們都是【酸民】。 尤其是這百香果醬。 是用鳳梨一起來熬煮的唷!
飲料我選擇無糖紅茶。
美好的午餐時間。 時間一下子就過去了。
好喜歡這樣原食物來呈現的美味料理。 讓我們不約而同的想再來。
