台南の定宿に使用しているシャングリラホテルです（このグループの中では、最もコストパフォーマンスが良い場所だと思います）。台南駅のすぐ裏側に聳え立つ高層ビルのため、台南のランドマークにもなっており、迷う事はありません。台南の街中で迷っても、この目立つ建物を目指して進めば戻ってくる事が出来ます。 台湾のホテルは、台北や高雄にある円山大飯店のような中華風のホテルも好きですが、利便性を考えると此処のような外資系のホテルに軍配が上がります。その分価格が高いのが玉に瑕ですが、台南の街中を楽しみゆっくり休む…という遊び方には、非常に良いホテルです。 また少し値段を追加して高層階に宿泊しますと、台南の町並みを一望出来ますし、朝御飯なども一気に豪華になりますのでお勧めです。
