慶平海產 — Restaurant in Tainan

Casual but very tasty seafood restaurant that the locals go, everything is super fresh! We asked them to steam the slipper lobsters (and we brought our own French butter), they were kind enough to melt the butter and gave us some lemon wedges (instead of the local Taiwanese way do preparing).

Excellent seafood and very fresh ingredients. Most of the shellfish we ordered could be seen live in the restaurant before we ate them. The menu does not have prices on it but they did have a translation of their dish offerings in English. The price for three dishes (scallops, mullet, clam soup) came out at 850NTD which is pricey for Taiwan but a bargain for this quality and quantity of seafood in many other countries.
