The Han-Jia Pairing Dinner 酣呷餐酒 — Restaurant in Tainan

Cannot recommend this place enough! Everything from the drinks to the food were solid (and we truly had almost everything on the menu). We hosted our wedding after party slash birthday celebration here in December of last year, and it was 10/10. Everything from customized specialty cocktails with Taiwanese fruits and whiskey to the delicious food options, the beautiful interior decor, the great atmosphere, the service was all outstanding. This has got to be one of my favorite bars in the world (and I’ve been to quite a few in Europe and the U.S.), and all of our guests loved the cocktail selection.

I coordinated every single detail with the manager remotely (through Line), and they were so accommodating, professional and helpful with all my requests! It made it the process so easy and the occasion even more special, and I can’t wait to come back again.

Parties aside, this is a great place for anything from a casual drink with friends after work to a nice dinner date night. 100%...

I came here for dinner and had the beef tongue, the octopus, the chicken wings, the clam soup with chicken broth, the bolognese pasta, the garlic shrimp, the baguette, two macallan plum whiskeys and a pineapple juice.

The best dishes were the The garlic shrimp with the baguette and the clam soup and the bolognese pasta. The other dishes were just okay but I would not order again if I went back.

The service was good although there were a few communication issues with what we ordered. The men’s restroom did not feel like it went with the style of the restaurant. It felt a little cheap and under decorated and there was no soap to wash my hands. I think if they improved the inside of the restroom a little by making it look nicer then I would give them 5 stars.

Excellent food, excellent cocktails and excellent service. The cocktails are all very well put together. The service here, unlike so many other places these days, is one with a smile. From the waiting staff to the bartender to the kitchen staff they actually look happy to be doing what they're doing and that makes a whole lot of difference to the atmosphere.

Although I have no qualms about giving 5 stars to this place in all categories, I suppose one thing that could be done to make it even better is if perhaps the bartender or chef could suggest which of the cocktails would go with which dishes in the true sense of the usual use of the term "pairing dinner".
