底特律pizza — Restaurant in Taipei

This is a new venture from the good people at Patio 46. As a long time resident in the neighborhood, I am so happy for the flavors they bring.

Still in their soft opening, I was happy to find many flavors of delicious Detroit style pizza on offer when we stopped by.

The owner was very helpful to suggest how best to accommodate me to make sure that I could reheat the pizza for the best experience once back at home. She even added extra cheese and pineapple to the Hawaiian slices we bought for my son!

The pizza is a pleasure to eat! Being a meat lover, I gravitated towards the Italian sausage, but the basil/cherry tomato also did not disappoint. The strength is in the crust, which is true to flavor and super tasty. Complimented with a good base sauce, all flavors have a great foundation.

I took the advice of posters above; we bought 12 pieces and my wife, son, and I had four for dinner. One piece is a great dinner, two pieces will make even the hungriest appetite well satisfied.

I am looking forward to enjoying the rest of this great pizza throughout the week and for some days to come....
