First The Good...The owner put a lot of effort into decorations and atmosphere.. The vibe is super cool.

However, the food is mediocre at best. This is the standard Taiwanese American food menu. Everything is the standard restaurant supplier products... Nothing special or unique!

Yes, there are a few different kinds of cubanos.. but they're nothing special and frankly a little disappointing if that's why you stopped in. And yes, that's what we were there to try.... There's a handful of other stores around town that do much better cubanos if that's what you're looking for.

The owner was kind and friendly, but our party of 3 had our food arrive almost 20 minutes apart. Which meant people were almost done eating when the last person was getting their order delivered to the table.

All in all, really disappointed as we were hoping to find a cool little shop that did cubanos close to the house and maybe even a few other...

Wandered by here and tried out their Mojo Cubano sandwich. The taste was okay, but the size was quite small for the price, and less substantial than I expected (especially the meat). I make mojo pork at home, and the small-ish slice of it here is decent.

I also ordered their house made salsa based on other reviews I’d seen of this place. The salsa tasted fresh, tangy, spicy, though there was a lot of liquid in the cup, which I felt they probably could’ve not served to me.

The decor is all fine and comfortable, and service is also fine: definitely friendly and nothing to complain about.

All in all, it’s a good sandwich, but not enough for me to seek coming back. I have another favourite Cubano place in Taipei, so I’ll probably keep...
