This establishment is overrated. I am giving it a one star review based on my personal experience with this type of food they offer. I've eaten this style chicken since I was very young. The difference is stark. None of the chicken had any meat. Chicken was only skin and bones. My memory of this type of food, it should be over 50% meat with everything else. No bones or skin.

Basically, you're ordering a doggie bag of food. No white or dark meat without increasing the base cost. The long line and wait is a facade.

First time tried Taiwanese salted chicken, like it very much.

It’s all meat and skin, and others things of your choices. No bones make it so much easier to enjoy the chicken.

水莲 tastes great in the mix, so does tofu skin.

You can put spicy sauce on the side but it mixes better if you mix into it. I am fine taking the extra hot one.

The line can be long but you don’t need to wait there since they give off numbers...

I used to come to this TungHua Night market quite often. But I never had the patience to wait in line to buy the braised veggies. This street vendor finally moved into a storefront nearby! Yay!!! Plus, we could use a line app to order ahead of time rather than the old fashion of lining up behind a dozen people. The food I ordered last night was incredible! Yum...
