Wei Pâtisseries — Restaurant in Taipei

I recently visited a pastry shop with a unique selection of four exquisite pastries on display. (Probably late already) Each of these pastries was a visual delight, showcasing an impressive level of creativity and attention to detail. (Pink rose, White cream and the other one which I’ve forgotten)

While the pastries were undoubtedly pretty, I must note that the emphasis on presentation occasionally overshadowed flavor. Some pastries, despite their beauty, lacked the depth of taste that I was hoping for. This was a bit disappointing as I believe that pastries should not only look good but taste exceptional as well.

In terms of service, the staff was friendly and willing to explain about the different pastries on display, which was appreciated.

I picked up some small tape sealed mini pastries, while waiting for the order’s being carefully put into the boxes, there was an issue with the prepackaged items displayed on the counter. These items did not have specific labels or clear descriptions, which made it challenging for customers to discern what they were. I was eager to try but for the safe side, it is a pass. I also wanted to know the varieties in different flavors, unfortunately I don’t see any helpful info.

The lack of labels created some confusion and left customers, including myself, uncertain about the contents of these prepackaged items. This is an aspect of the shop that could be improved to enhance the overall customer experience.

Clear labeling or descriptions for these prepackaged items would not only help customers make informed choices but also add a level of professionalism and transparency to the shop. Location is a combined store with other units. There was some renovation being done on the unit upstairs so no dine in available.

Ordered 3 cakes for takeaway. The lemon cake is divine. Just the right amount of sweetness and sourishness. The grated zest is a great touch as well. The Montblanc is the first good Montblanc we’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious. The pumpkin cake is also interesting.

蛋糕外觀很可愛，店內狗貓也蠻可愛的，店員服務ok 餐點的部分慕斯吃起來很硬沒有水分，很像在吃奶油，但奶油油膩厚重，檸檬酸度不足，也不夠冰，再冰一點或許能解決油膩的問題，而且吃起來也很苦。 蛋糕體吃起來很乾，很苦，都是檸檬皮的苦味，不好吃。 到後面吃不完，抱歉浪費食物但實在無法。太苦了，都是苦味。 再來飲料也很糟，這是我喝過最糟的抹茶奶茶，一杯要價120，喝起來就像泡的粉，也沒有鮮奶味道，不知道實際作法如何但喝起來就是不好喝的抹茶奶茶粉 看到漂亮的照片實際嚐起來如此，非常失望，大概...
