伯爵鐵板燒 — Restaurant in Taoyuan City

So in general (and you can check my other reviews as proof), I am very stingy with giving 5 stars. I can wax lyrical about food and a restaurant and I'd still without that last star. But this, my friend, coaxed it out of me.

Where do I start? Friendly staff, from the 老板娘 at the counter, to the dudes manning the teppan, to the friendly old man who owns the place. Order the 大薄片 set and watch the magic happen.

There is free flow of rice and a drink, and this is normal around Taiwan, but what takes the cake is a free steaming bowl of clam soup that is generously piled with clams. Also free complimentary fried little shrimp with chili, garlic and spring onion.

Ask for a small plate of fried garlic chips. Ask for spicy or non spicy. Leave happy.

Parking is easy with a parking lot just next door.

If I had to complain (this is splitting hairs) I would say that it's not easy to reach by public transport, and also its more expensive than a regular teppanyaki store plus they charge 10% service charge. But seriously this is nitpicking.

I love this place and I will always come back.

許久未吃，突然想到找了男友一起過來吃，本來男友是想吃大埔鐵板燒的，但我印象中不錯還極力推薦！ 我們想點了一套雙人B餐～ 但因為我們不吃牛所以詢問老闆娘是否可以把牛小排(單點380元、牛排餐480元)換成豬排(單點260元、豬排套餐480) 但老闆娘說換餐要加30元 有點令我匪夷所思⋯ 當下詢問老闆娘：單點的話豬排較便宜、套餐也等值為何要加30元？ 老闆娘說換餐就是要加錢！ 好吧….也許我不懂是有什麼區別或是這家店的規矩！ 當下我家好脾氣的男人說那就點B餐加30塊給他吧！ OK～我也不想為了30塊在那邊爭 心想反正我以後也不會再來了，那就加吧！熱愛鐵板燒的我，還真的是頭一次遇到牛排換豬排要貼錢的！ 其實30元不多，就是一個感覺問題～ 買了一個最後一次到訪！

後來，看了評論果真如此，青菜真的少得可憐～也真的沒什麼味道，很養生！其他食材也真的份量不多，秋刀魚煎的像魚乾一樣，完全不值得980的價值！ 第一次吃鐵板燒的雙人套餐沒吃飽的～ ...
