Highly impressed with this hotel! 5 stars for everything!
We just came from a more expensive hotel that was crap compared to this one. It's modern, clean and beautiful.
First things first, we got out of the taxi and a girl came out and just grabbed our suitcase in, like wat?? Thank you! 🙏
She spoke English, super nice and polite. Took our luggage til we could check in at 4 pm. Check outs at 12 pm which I love.
Secondly, we got back and um our luggage was ALREADY DELIVERED to our room? Thank you again!! I love this!
Room is a little small where the king sized bed is but honestly it's totally fine, the shower/tub is so nice! Great shower pressure, can't wait to use the tub. Heated toilet 🚽 seats is top notch! Love it.
They have FREE laundry, so we took advantage of that asap! So nice of them and they even portioned out the detergent & fabric softener, they are super detail oriented and I really appreciate that.
The best part? Their SNACK bar. Omg. They give you any cup ramen 🍜 noodles you want, coffee machine with lattes and all that, juice, the grapefruit was amazing. And when I say a ton of snacks I mean I was full and I still didn't get to try all of them. But the ones I loved I have shared the close up photos. Just amazing!
Breakfast was also really good! Great mix of taiwanese food and westerned breakfast for the foreigners (mine was all taiwanese while my partner choose mostly western food 😂)
You can tell they want to provide the best service they possibly can and it shows in every way.
If we're ever in this city again we would 100% come back, I'm sad we're only here for 2 nights. Day 1 only and we choose to just have a rest day here and love it. There's like no reason to even leave, it has everything!
Only complaint is the tub would drain while plugged, so I had to keep...
Read moreWhile it's a little out of the way, this is worth considering if you're looking around this area. Currently about 20 minutes walk from Huanbei MRT and 10 minutes from Zhongli train station, it will eventually be closer to one of the stations being built to extend the MRT right through to Zhongli.||Note: if walking from Huanbei, walk along the river where there's a nice pathway.||Everything about this place is lovely. A new modern hotel with great staff who speak decent English, nice rooms, good breakfast selection etc. As usual for a tall westerner, the beds could be longer, but they're not too bad.||The in-house restaurant is definitely worth making use of (even if eating Italian may seem odd in Taiwan!).||Free laundry facilities.||The hotel is tucked down a side street, so a little hard to find, but also away from the street noise mostly.||Very hard to find fault with this hotel. Probably the best I've used in Taiwan.||Well one small fault - the air con is a bit noisy and I ended up turning it off...
Read moreStayed at Hotel Mu for 2 nights. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and it definitely exceeded my expectations. Highlights are that there is a free 24 hour self service laundry room with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers (laundry detergent & softeners included), free bike rental to hotel guests (which I didn't use since it was raining), free breakfast (food was actually good), free snacks during their happy hour and I was able to leave my luggage there after check out to run errands before going to my next destination (normal check out is at noon). The room is small but extremely clean and mostly sound proof. The AC works well, shower pressure was good. The bed was comfortably firm with nice pillows. The location is great ~ I was able to walk to Zhongli Night Market as well as the surrounding shops easily. The one downside is there's only one elevator so you may have to wait a bit otherwise everything is great....
