LLL Pizzeria — Restaurant in Taoyuan City

Heard good things about the pizza here. I just went and the guy told me they’re closed at 8:30 pm. although the sign on the door and online it says 9 pm. The chairs were all turned over and the staff were just listening to music and lounging around.

As someone who’s worked in the hospitality industry for many years, I know that this is unacceptable service. You’ve made a promise to your customers to serve them between certain hours and you look at them as if they’re crazy coming in within those hours. They weren’t willing to serve me at all, maybe I just wanted a salad.

I won’t go back.

...even the response from the owner is rude. No "I'm sorry you had a negative experience"...simply "You should have made a reservation, or gone somewhere else for a salad." So there you have it i guess, vegans not welcome, and walk-ins...

I feel sorry for people that pass by this place thinking it's just another pizza place. It's so much more than that... it's an incredible experience for your taste buds. Chef Sean brings the authentic ingredients and flavors of many Italian and Mediterranean dishes to Taiwan. He does it right! While the pizzas are gourmet and delicious, don't pass up the chance to taste his amazing salads and appetizers. I can't say enough good things about this place. But if you're the type that just looks for a bellyfull of bland calories... well, I think the care and thoughtfulness that is used to create these amazing taste treats will be...

Amazing Neapolitan-style pizza! Back home in the U.K. there is a famous pizza place that has spent a lot of time in Naples perfecting their dough recipe. This place is on par with them!

Feel really lucky to have found a place like this all the way in Taiwan! Pretty sure they use the famous san marzano tomatoes in their sauce, or else they have perfectly balanced it out with fish sauce, wine vinegar etc - either way it’s delicious and authentic!

Other toppings are 100% imported, and priced as such (fairly, we’re a long way from Italy). I always just go for a margarita, pizza this good doesn’t need a load...
