Unpleasant Dining Experience – Not Suitable for Tourists
We stopped by this restaurant simply because our child was hungry and we happened to walk past. Sadly, the experience was far from welcoming.
If you don’t read Mandarin or aren’t familiar with traditional Chinese dishes, this place is not for you. The menu had no translations or pictures, making it hard to understand. We asked one of the staff (male staff) for help, but he was impatient and rude. He began explaining a few dishes, then abruptly walked off mid-way, saying he had other things to do. The restaurant wasn’t even busy — there were plenty of empty tables and idle staff around — but clearly, customer service wasn’t a priority.
We also ordered Chinese tea, not realizing they serve it using a traditional tea set. He asked if we knew how to prepare it, and when we said no, he didn’t bother to explain — instead, he got visibly annoyed and stormed off to the back of the restaurant. We could hear him loudly venting to his peers, mocking us for not knowing how to make Chinese tea.
We never asked for that kind of experience in the first place — we just wanted a simple cup of tea. Does he expect every customer to come in knowing how to use a traditional tea set? Or that ordering tea comes with an unspoken requirement to perform a tea ceremony?
The entire attitude was uncalled for and made us feel completely unwelcome. Unless you’re familiar with every dish on their menu and know traditional tea preparation, you're likely to face the same rudeness.
There are far better restaurants in the area with friendlier service. We were simply unlucky to choose this one. Definitely not recommended, especially for...

We were hot and sweaty after walking and he gave us extra drinks, walked us out with umbrellas when it was raining, and gave us drinks to go. He wouldn’t accept a tip even! Fabulous tea, perfect for a rainy day and...
