LanPO — Restaurant in Yilan City

I have eaten here twice and tried both Western and Taiwanese style food. The food is okay but nothing special or delicious or amazing. The service is okay, but you have to order and pay at the counter. This normally isn't a big deal, but it feels like you're paying table service price for counter service. This is the real issue: price. If this restaurant had amazing food, the price would be fine. But as it stands, the price for their food should be roughly 3/5ths of what it is, therefore the restaurant gets 3 out of 5 stars. Would only ever recommend this restaurant if all the other good restaurants were fully booked and this was the only convenient...

We ordered two dishes, 1. Pork Curry soup with rice (290NT); 2. Chicken breast with vegetables and rice (260NT)

The Curry soup was good, but it lacked some depth in flavor and it was undersalted. Also the shrimp that cames inside was a bit overcooked. The rice on the side was cooked to perfection and it was a grain of great quality. The chicken breast was cooked and seasoned very well, but the vegetables didn't have much flavor and were very few, just one slice of carrot, one slice of zucchini and a small piece of pumpkin. The rice was also great.

#梅香馬告檸檬魚$338 柔嫩細緻的魚肉徹底浸潤在清新酸爽的梅香檸檬醬汁裡，咀嚼之間帶出令人無法抗拒的好味。

#蘭波惡魔蛋 $128 炸得外酥內軟的蛋白加入店家特製的蛋黃醬，再撒上適量的辣椒粉與嫩綠蔥花，即是一道簡單迷人的開胃前菜。

#檸檬派 $168 柔滑濃稠的檸檬餡料與酥脆的餅底完美搭配，口感味道的精采交織讓我很驚豔。

#蘭波西西里咖啡$170 黑咖啡的香醇與檸檬的酸度平衡地恰到好處，清香回甘的滋味是我個人目前喝過最喜歡的西西里咖啡。
