Tonight I was looking for a place that sold 苦瓜鹹蛋 and this location popped up on my Google maps. I fact I had seen this place before and had no idea what type of food it offered. After browsing the menu online, I found that there were many different dishes that I absolutely love and have not had a long time. This includes fried milkfish. Honestly speaking, the quality of the food was outstanding. I was told that I would have to wait 20 minutes because everything was made fresh. It was definitely worth the wait!
Food: I ordered 苦瓜鹹蛋 even though it was not included on the menu. The server wrote down my order and included this dish, even though it was not on the paper menu. I knew the store offered this because of my online research. As the name suggests, the bitter gourd was bitter. However, I love this taste.
I also ordered them 宮保雞丁 and requested that it would not be too spicy. In fact, the level of spice was absolutely perfect. The chicken itself what's the highest quality, and included big chunks of real quality meat. In fact, this might be one of the best 宮保雞丁 dishes I've ever had due to the quality of ingredients.
Finally, I ordered milk fish (虱目魚). Since I lived in 臺南 for over 10 years, I am very sensitive to the quality of milkfish. Thus order of milkfish was some of the best I've ever had. It was salty, to the point of perfection, and fatty as well. It was good perfectly, and definitely worth a 20-minute wait.
Overall, in terms of the food quality and for the price, I would have to highly recommend this restaurant.
Service: immediately upon my arrival I was presented with a paper menu. I was given plenty of time to search the options and to find those dishes which I wanted to order. As mentioned, the bitter gourd what's not included on the menu itself, but was added by the clerk when asked. I was told clearly that I would have to wait approximately 20 minutes in order for the food to be cooked freshly. I have encountered other restaurants in the past that have not stated this clearly and have resulted in me being impatient waiting for my food. In this case, the wait time was very clear and I was very happy to wait and play on my phone. When my tissues for complete, another server brought them to me already packaged. The price was less than I had expected, particularly compared to similar restaurants in the area. I was very satisfied with the service and the quality for price.
Atmosphere: this is the type of place I would love to visit with friends. There's a great internal environment that would be perfect for a drinking beers and having a luxurious and leisurely meal together with loved ones. Although I ordered takeaway, I still had the chance to sit and enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant. I would most certainly visit here with friends to have some beers and food if I was not driving. There's a lot of intriguing, culturally rich and interesting decor. I can't believe that I'm only finding this restaurant now. I'll certainly visit here again, and I will reserve this as a place to attend with friends and loved ones in the future.

🤤烤魚下巴 $200 雖是吳郭魚下巴,但土味不重,油脂的香氣也都有被烤出來!
🤤 鐵板鴕鳥肉 $200 黑胡椒給好給滿,但是肉感覺沒有去筋,有點難咬,但是還行啦,還是能點!
🤤 炒飯 $65 雖然鍋氣不明顯,但蛋和蔥的香氣有出來,沒特別說明的話,感覺店家就是直接給培根炒飯
🤤 炒高麗菜 (忘了多少錢哈) 很甜很脆口,推!
🤤 炸蘿蔔糕 $150 偏糯的口感,線因為用炸的偏硬,面則還好,沒有裹過多粉
🤤 金沙南瓜 $200 南瓜很甜很好吃!雖然鹹蛋只用一顆,但也蠻足夠的了,大推~
🤤 蒜頭雞湯(半隻) $380 湯很清淡(我們懷疑忘了加鹽哈哈,但是我們剛好都點重口味的食物,剛好可以平衡一下)蒜頭有兩種,一般生蒜頭和炒過的蒜酥,烏骨雞也很嫩,整體推!

餐點算好吃美味,可惜服務有待加強 一開始點餐完畢給店員1菜單後店員1又問一次要不要魚 跟店員1說不要,結果最後卻上了魚說我們有點
點完餐後大概隔15分鐘上第一道菜 第一道菜上之後又隔了5~6分鐘後續都還是沒有白飯 因為上到第二道菜還第三道菜時都沒有上白飯 詢問店員可不可以上白飯後才上飯 (白飯就在電鍋不是已經煮好了嗎實在不懂為何20分鐘了都沒上?)
吃到最後面加點了海鮮「炒飯」 但店員2卻上了海鮮「炒麵」 只好乾脆又再多點一次海鮮炒飯🤯
然後建議店員1來收菜單不要只問客人要不要魚 客人菜單已經點好了就是沒畫魚 又問一次實在很多餘 至少應該是跟客人核對餐點 而不是客人說不要結果你在上面畫來畫去寫字變...
