集客人間茶館-民權店 — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

This is the first time I visited this place. Nasty attitude from waiters. I also have sanitary concern regarding that waiter chewing gum on the job. God knows how much of the droplets of saliva is going into your plate on your food. Also the second floor is saturated with the moist pungent odor from secondhand smoke coming from the smoking area at the balcony. The waiter didn’t walk us to the table. I seriously don’t know what he is getting paid for. We are asking for a table for afternoon. It was freaking 4pm, the waiter told us the table we wanted is reserved; we asked him what time it’s reserved for ? He replied 7pm. It’s made apparent to me that the waiter really sucks there. The empty tables also have cups and dirty dishes. Left without eating there. Will never consider it. If I could give less than one star, I would. This...

The food is not bad, BUT the staff is just too inefficient and not really in a service mode:

(1) I waited 15 minutes on 2F to get my order sheet picked up. They don’t come upstairs frequently to check on the customers, so you might have to walk downstairs to hand them back your order sheet.

(2) The manager-ish guy saw me walking downstairs to check out as he was sitting down on a table by the stairs to handle some paperwork, but didn’t budge until a second customer came to place the order. He stood up and served the second person FIRST. When I checked out, I asked him, “You saw me ready to check out, right?” He ignored me.

I went there because of the good review, but I’m disappointed. I don’t know what’s going on with the staff there today. Maybe it’s because of the holidays now. But I’m most likely not going back to...
