Secret bistro — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

If you are looking for something that has a range of different foods (especially if you are a Westerner) this place is amazing. The staff were exceptional, and using Google translate we filled in a few gaps in the drinks menu and specials board we had all we wanted and more! Stand out was the pepper pork chop. My mum was famous for her pork chops, but I have never had a more tender piece of pork in my life, and the miso reduction sauce was AMAZING! It can be difficult to get a nice glass of white wine with dinner at a reasonably priced restaurant in Taipei, but we enjoyed a bottle of NZ Marlboro sav that was great! Whilst not the most important part of a dining experience, there is also an onsite toilet that is clean clean clean... It DOES make a difference.

Had a wonderful family dinner here. We love their scallop/sea urchin spaghetti as well as the soft crab/garlic spaghetti. Service was attentive not like what others said. Reasonably priced. (300-350 for a cocktail). Thanks for the great food and service that made our Mother’s Day! We will be back...
