The most important aspect, Food: Tender, crispy, and flavourful tonkatsu I recommend this place to everyone, the food is delicious. This place fits both small and big eaters like myself, since you can refill cabbage and rice as much as you like. I loved the cabbage sauce as well, It makes it very addictive. I tried other places around but this one is my favourite by far. They offer a large variety of ways to enjoy tonkatsu and other fried delicacies. Pork, chicken, shrimp and even salmon. With or without curry, spicy or not, bread or rice, or maybe with eggs if you like. I'm confident that you'll find something to suit your palate. The little pickled appetisers are nice too, especially the saseme seaweed one. I wished we could refill just this one as well.
Service: Service is excellent, I don't really speak the language, but they always manage to meet my expectations. Usually the waiter is attentive, fast and friendly.
Atmosphere: Looks very nice, fresh and clean wood Japanese inspired interior.
Overall, excellent, price wise I think it is very reasonable. I am very happy to pay a little extra to enjoy a superior experience. Take your friend, family or lover there you won't regret it.
One last thing: Sometimes it can feel a little embarrassing to ask for a refill multiple times. Especially me who has to refill rice and cabbage 3 or more times, and language barrier with some waiters. Since I don't like to bother, it can be a little awkward. But eventually I always got my things, so nothing serious, just a little area to consider.
It is really life changing when this one very attentive waiter comes to refill my things by his own will and with a big smile. It really makes a huge difference, I hope he will recognise himself. He played a very important part in the experience and rating, even though I can't even truly speak to him.
Thanks for everything (also, for the desserts...

The restaurant specializes in pork chop, prepared Japanese style. They selling more than just the food, but also the experience: giving you sesame seeds in a small bowl and you have to grind them down before adding their specially made sauce, so that you end up with the sauce for your pork chop.
I ordered their classic style pork chop set (赤神里肌豬排套餐), which includes the pork, rice, salad, and soup. The pork was tasty and tender, and the portion was sufficient.
Overall we enjoyed our meals. This is definitely a place worth...
Read moreFree refill in salad and rice, which is nice The quality of the meat is not bad BUT, the seasoning for the meals are pretty bad. a) all I was able to taste was soy sauce. b) despite being a Japanese restaurant, the flavour is quite heavy. The price is quite expensive when you consider there are similar options for nearly $100 cheaper Their service is pretty good tho.
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant , tho you could try their lunch, it's bit cheaper. And it seems my experience is a bit isolated (based on other's reviews), so you might have...
