Cudos to the Chef, that's all good things unfortunately. We were tourists and at our first evening the waiter told us they do not have a menu. Since it was crowded with people we trusted it. Turns out the second evening that they only serve "local looking people" (mind you my husband is black too) a menu. I went to another table, just to figure out that the waiter (Brian) has been scamming us for the second time now for around 50 dollars, he put into his own pocket and served us a rigged bill (I have been traveling africa in the past 4 years, husband is Kenyan and we trusted them, mind you!). A nice location with mature gardens and good food. However, during our last visit, we were overcharged by 100,000 TSH on my card. When we returned the next day to claim the refund, the waiter assured us that he would transfer the funds via Mpesa by the following day. Despite several reminders, he only transferred 72,000 TSH instead of the full amount. All attempts to get the remaining amount failed, and he asked us to return the 72,000 TSH so he could take the entire amount from the restaurant's petty cash and give it to us.
