Imagine stepping into The Cube Restaurant in Mindu, where the ambiance immediately sets a cozy yet refined tone. The interior is modern and minimalist, with soft lighting casting a warm glow over comfortable seating arrangements, making it an ideal spot for both casual and more formal dining experiences. As the menu arrives, it showcases a creative fusion of local and international flavors, with dishes meticulously crafted to appeal to a variety of tastes. Perhaps you'd start with a fresh, vibrant salad, the greens crisp and the dressing balanced just right. For the main course, a highlight could be the grilled fish, perfectly seasoned and accompanied by a selection of vegetables that burst with flavor. One of the standout features at The Cube is the attentive service—servers are prompt and knowledgeable, able to suggest excellent pairings and provide details on each dish's ingredients. Their insight into the menu elevates the entire experience, making diners feel both welcome and well taken care of. If you still have room for dessert, the chocolate lava cake comes highly recommended. It arrives warm, with a molten center that’s rich but not overwhelming, the perfect ending to a delightful meal. The Cube in Mindu doesn’t just deliver on taste; it provides a complete dining experience that feels both elevated and approachable. The atmosphere, food, and service all combine to create a place that feels special and memorable.

Let’s start with the positives, the atmosphere is really nice and spacious. And we were offered board games once seated. However the food and drinks are not great. My ice lotus latte had plenty of undisolved sugar at the bottom and was very watery. We also ordered the cube fries which were not as described (they didn’t have chicken tenders) and was 90% chips only. The lemon and herb butter wings did not taste of lemon or herb or butter. They were simply choma wings which were decent. I hope this is just because they are starting out and it’s new, and with time the problems are ironed out.

We tried the Platter 3 from the menu and it was actually really really good. The masala fries were very crispy. The nundu and mishkaki were cooked just the right amount and it was more than enough for our entire group of 10 people. However, service here takes a very long time so might I suggest coming here with a group that you can talk to whilst the food gets prepared

"An Absolute Disaster: Avoid the Cube at All Costs" This dining experience at the Cube was an unmitigated disaster. The service was abysmal, with waiters seemingly clueless and completely overwhelmed. The food arrived with an unconscionable delay and was served cold and utterly devoid of flavor. The only saving grace, if you can call it that, was the pasta, which was passable. However, the burgers were an insult to the very concept of a burger, and the fries were bland and uninspiring. The incompetence reached a new low when we requested our leftovers to be packed. Instead of packing our individual orders separately, the waiter inexplicably mixed everything together in a single container, leaving us baffled and frustrated. To add insult to injury, when I approached the owner to express my grievances, I discovered another customer already voicing similar complaints. It became painfully clear that this level of poor service and subpar food is not an isolated incident but rather the standard operating procedure at the Cube. I strongly advise anyone considering dining at the Cube to steer clear. You will undoubtedly encounter a frustrating and...
