Super delicious Mexican food, lovingly prepared, very flavorful, and served in a cool atmosphere!

I can highly recommend Lucha Cantina in Chalong. I even regret that we only discovered this restaurant after spending three months in Phuket. They offer outstanding, extremely tasty Mexican cuisine.

Starting with appetizers like mini chimichangas, nachos, dips, guacamole, empanadas, and more, to main dishes such as various types of burritos, tacos, quesadillas, flautas, enchiladas, salads, and finishing off with Mexican desserts like churros or churro cake filled with fruit. There's also a large selection of cocktails and beverages. In short: you’ll find everything — and more — that a Mexican food lover's heart could wish for!

And the best part: almost every dish can be ordered in a vegan version. You can also choose between different types of fillings for most items, ranging from spinach with cheese (also available in vegan) to sautéed zucchini, meat, beans, vegan meat alternatives, and more. It was really hard for us to decide because the selection is so large and everything sounds so incredibly good!

And the food tasted just as delicious as it sounded and looked! We had the mini chimichangas with vegan spinach-cheese filling, a quesadilla with zucchini and vegan cheese, and a nacho burrito filled with beans, salad, and cheese (all vegan), along with vegan sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo.

Everything was incredibly delicious — we immediately fell in love with the food and the restaurant!

Anyone looking for authentic, delicious Mexican food will feel absolutely at home here — whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, or vegan. Everyone will find something they love!

Definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area! I'm from the states so traveling/ vacationing is in or around Mexico, so I've had some amazing ethnic Mexican food and this place Definitely has the right spices. Although I only had the birria tacos. The beef was perfect. The sides were good and fresh but would tell you they are the main dish and gotta have them. Had the basic house margaritas, that was good and did the job at a really good price for a pitcher. They should just give you 1 large straw cause it was all for me... 1 thing that was disappointing was the amount of guacamole they give. atmosphere was really nice outside and inside was a pool table and good smells from the kitchen.
