Mangiafuoco Soi Ta-iad — Restaurant in Chalong

We were met by a young man and I ask him if he was Italian he say half Italian n Thai but very cold, I continue to order… Food was ok… but at the end when it was time to pay I gave them my credit card and he rudely say we will charge you 5% extra…I immediately responded I will not pay the 5%, without asking for the cash option he continues n brought a Thai lady maybe the boss, same no Ofer to pay cash just arguing the 5%, I find it comical, I had time I wanted to see what they would do, so they call the police, long story short I followed them to the station, when I got there, there were 2 gentleman at front desk , I ask them if they spoke English they replied was yes, I explained them what happened with that rude boy keep trying to interject… but every time he was shut down…. Finally the police ask me if I had cash I say yes, he say go ahead pay the bill n you’re done🤪 poor business ppl, but imagine how many other tourists fell in their trap🙏 I WOULDN’T recommend this place if my life...
