Overpriced, low quality food. We were hopeful about the wood fire oven pizza, but it came out soggy and undercooked. We sent it back but it came back the same. The boss (I presume) was apologetic and offered to make a new one for us, but guess what, pizza is still soggy. For a 300+ baht magherita pizza, they used some random tomato slices and thai basil that just didn’t taste quite right. Mozzarella cheese was thick and rubbery.
When the boss came to check with us again, she actually told us ‘sorry... the yeast today was not good’, which makes us wonder, why sell the pizza if you know the dough is not up to your usual standard? Before we left, we chatted with the pizza chef and he showed us the balls of pizza dough. Sure enough, they were super dense, indicating that there is some problem with the yeast that caused insufficient rising of the dough.
Bottom line, a restaurant should not knowingly sell food that is not good....

My partner lived in Mae Rim for 5 years and would frequent the restaurant every now and then. When he moved back and I moved to Mae Rim we went there together. Despite asking for two glasses of wine in Thai that every other restaurant understood they bought us a bottle. Ok we thought our mistake. Despite pointing out our dinner choices by its number on the menu, my partner ended up with something we never even noticed was on the menu (assuming it was) and our bill was 3,000 bhat rather than the 600 bhat expected from what we asked for and pointed to on the menu.
Rather silly to treat us like ignorant “farang” for a one off dinner, or so I assume they thought and get a lot more money from us. We eat and shop locally and enjoy our Thai neighbourhood and Thai friends and other than at Groveyard we have not been ripped...
Read moreLove the vibe and atmosphere. Music was really good too. We came on a Saturday evening and they had two guitarist play for an hour or so each. They also have a lovely dog and cat:) We ordered the Margherita, Hawaiian and bacon pizzas, all very delicious. The fried chicken wings were very good as well. The spinach and cheese dip not so much, it didn’t come with anything to dip it in??
I ordered the watermelon mint martini. I would give that a three star out of five and my husband ordered the tequila sunrise he would give that a two out of five. They were fine it’s just not really strong. But the price point was pretty good! Our friends ordered Long Island iced tea and they tasted really good and felt like they were pretty strong. We did the four beer promotion which basically gives you eight drinks. I think that was the best choice!
Overall, we had a fantastic time and I can’t wait...
