I was on the motorbike to do some sightseeing when a sudden belly ache and overall illness overcame me (the beginning of food poisoning). I sat beside the road but it all got worse so I managed to walk to this restaurant so I could at least be out of the sun and take a rest. How rude the staff was. While I went to the toilet to throw up, the servant and manager angrily told my boyfriend that it was a restaurant and we should order food beside our drinks. Mind you, I couldn’t even hold the water in, I ordered out of politeness. All the while they were looking at us as if we were dirt (even though they also clearly saw I was in great pain). When the pain only got worse we asked if there was a place I could lie down, because sitting was too uncomfortable. They tried to send me to a hotel nearby but I couldn’t even walk at that point. I tried to slowly drink the water, and they came by again to remind us the hotel was on the other side of the road. We reminded them I couldn’t walk. They walked away laughing?! We found a bench outside the restaurant and while I lied there the pain slowly lessened enough for me to order a taxi. All the while, every five minutes they were eying me through the window, as if I was tainting their beautiful backside garden. The 10% service tax is not mentioned on the menu and also not appropriate since I didn’t receive any service or hospitality. From what I’m reading of the other reviews, they can only treat you nicely when you...
Read moreThis restaurant served the combination of western with eastern cuisine. Menu has variety of Italian, Thai, Japanese. Has free Wi-Fi.
Inside is nicely decorated, homely, but felt rather empty. Due to this place just opened recently, the outside of the restaurant is still in development. Parking space could be an issue when there's full house.
Each dishes came out quick, shows that the kitchen knows what they're doing. Experienced and professional. Front of house, however, seem rather new to the job.
EDIT: On the second and third time I came here, the front of house has already improved.
"Larb Fresh Salmon" is overwhelmed with Larb seasoning that it destroyed the delicate taste of the raw salmon. Too much of crunchy roasted rice make it a distraction while eating. It's just too strong of a taste for an appetiser.
Chef's Special "Pan-Seared Seabass with Eggplant Mousseline, Fresh Tomato Salsa" was wonderful. Margherita Pizza was nice, the tomato sauce taste fresh. This could mean the pasta dishes is likely to be good as well.
This is a promising restaurant in this area, but I do concerned for its future as it seem not really attractive for the local as much. It's just too generic to really pulled...
Read moreThis is one of our long time favourite spots in CNX.
The quality of the food is really good.
They have a permanent menu and seasonal dishes. The quality of ingredients, cooking and presentation is very good.
It’s very good value for this quality of food. When I visiting my dad in CNX, we come here almost every or every other day.
They are not very busy - likely because they are out in Mae Rim away from the main central tourist area. Good for private events I imagine. But love the food and service. Worth a visit for this standard of food.
Prices are not local but are very good considering the level of preparation and thought that goes into the food and menu items.
You can be assured of wholesome food and a...
