A pit stop at the bee farm before heading to Mon Cham

Tour : Initially the staff there said that the bees may be sleeping and can be aggressive if disturbed but they took the effort to check so that we could see the hive in person.

The staff explained that as there are no flowers at the farm at the moment , they have to feed sugar to the bees first.

Fees : no tour fees / entrance fees

Retail space : A lot of honey related products to buy. We got some honey shower gel that we used before which we liked.

This is not to be mistaken for a large commercial bee farm. I think the hives are mostly to show visitors some live bees.

Overall good pit stop if you want to have a quick look at bees and get some honey.

Service :...

The garden is disappointing. Only four beehives and a poster. (No tour or guide.) The honey for sale is delicious and I want to believe that it's 100% natural. It's also quite cheap. They even have 10-year old honey (which is very dark) and difficult to find. I can recommend it, because I have some 20-year honey which is black and very viscous. Delicious.

Quick update. We asked in the sales office about the garden. No one offered to show us around. They didn't...

We spent 5 min there bought two small bottles of amazingly flavoured Lychee & Wild Honey. great taste for both and very distinctive. I wish them all the best and hopefully they can find the personal needed to operate this...

Great learning center for Beekeeping, active bee farm with Bee products ...I also bought 2 Beehives from them for my Apiary ...they have 1 day basic beekeeping course as well and local schools utilize their bee learning center on a normal basis to teach young children about bee conservation ....well worth checking out on the way to Mae Rim and at the eastern base if Doi Suthep ...nice ride ...
