So much good food! From suki at one end And Madam Tasty's waffles at the other end and sll the great places in between. Grab an inexpensive dinner they are tete every night. Update: With restrictions for COVID lifted the market is packed again as it should be. The variety of great cheap eats is huge. Even though it's crowded you will always be able to squeeze into a table somewhere. If you have been shy about eating from street vendors this market will cure that you're sure to find something that will make this one of your favorite night spot for eating out.

plenty of good street food but some food staff attitude is bad, the menu stated 40baht but they charge me 50baht. That's fine for me but the worst part we didn't know that each food stall has their territory. We had ordered other food and beer from other stall then move to this stall which full of empty places. One of the staff came and ask us to move without hesitation even i did order the food which they extra charge me. End up i had to move away frustrated. I had attached the photo of the stall for anyone who read my review just in case falls to the situation i occurred.

Es uno de los muchos mercados nocturnos que hay por Chiang Mai, está lleno de los típicos puestos de comida callejera que hay por toda Thailandia , gran variedad de comida y cositas para probar. Todo lo que encontraras allí es auténtico, gente y familias enteras, que se gana la vida con eso. Está lleno de mesas, para que te des una vuelta, cojas varios platos de varios sitios y te sientes a disfrutar, al lado de gente local y/o turistas. Un dato, si eres fino, la suciedad y el desorden te afectan , no vayas , porque no te parecerá un buen sitio. Coge y vete a un restaurante de calidad a pagar mucho más por algo, en muchos casos peor o al menos no tan auténtico. Puntualizo, que haya suciedad y desorden no quiere decir que tengan la comida en mal estado , ni mal conservada ni nada, es más bien un tema de cómo tienen la zona en si, todo el mercado, pero al fin y al cabo , en todos los sitios que he estado , es su manera de trabajar y vivir. Podrás darte cuenta que su tabla de trabajo y herramientas , así como sus manos, verás que lo limpian continuamente. Si queréis un mercado , limpio y ordenado, tenéis el Asiatic Market en Bangkok, eso sí todo es muuucho mas caro y os daréis cuenta que muchas cosas son de compra .... No hechas por ellos.

Lots of different choices, it’s hard to stop when your stomach’s full! I recommend the bao buns! As a solo female traveller, I always look at reviews to see if other women feel safe- it is really well lit and very relaxed atmosphere. All of the different stall owners are kind and I was here quite late without feeling uncomfortable at all :) there’s a 7/11 here too!

I had Khao Soi chicken here, it was just so so. Almost across the road is legendary Khao Soi Khun Yai, and so I thought this would be a good place too - this is fine for tourists perhaps and serves dishes for touristy clients I guess. I was not very impressed with their food though. Staff is very helpful though and open air shaded seating is good or fine too.

If you are looking for a place to eat street food in Chiang Mai, this is the place to go. Every night a lot of street food kiosk are meeting up and install a couple of tables on the sidewalk. There is a good variety of stand offering different type of food including desserts. This is definitely a place to go if you are staying in Chiang Mai.
