Laemcharoen Seafood Central Chiangmai — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

First of all I Love seafood so I want to try seafood in this restaurant. We ordered a lot of food and 1.) It’s located on fourth floor next to Chester’s grill. It’s obviously to find. 2.) I think their ingredients is new and fresh. 3.) The price is reasonable for amount and its taste. 4.) The staffs were nice service. We have been waiting for 30 minutes for food so we don’t mind about that cause we have time and Other customers keep coming and order food and We got food almost everything and we were eating we eat almost everything done but the last menu didn’t come we try to tell the staff about one food didn’t get , they walked around and we were waiting and didn’t come so we wanted to check and we didn’t want that menu anymore then the lady staff carry the plate of our menu “we didn’t forget but it’s cooking “ it’s really not cool almost 50 minutes you guys try to cook a piece of that fish I thought your business has problems in other hand the table just sit they are start to get their food in 15 minutes what’s mean? Great seafood treat, at least for myself - as we ordered their signature fried fish, calamari, crab and vermicelli prawns.

🪑 seats weren’t assigned as with most Chiang Mai restaurants - can go ahead and choose one to your liking as you enter

🐠 the fried fish was truly the highlight of my meal, very well cooked, fragrant, crispy, not much bones, tender, value for money!

🦐 the vermicelli prawn was a let down, it was as if it’s butter prawns as I could only taste butter off the dish - definitely won’t be reordering this due to the difference in standard from what I remembered it to be.

🦀 crab wasn’t as good as we thought, but good amount of best was found and it was decently spicy too

🦑 calamari was great, if not for the sauce as it was too sweet and sticky for my liking..

Side note, the servers doesn’t really speak English so do be ready to do sign language if you can’t speak Thai.

Tough to rate as we really only liked the fish - but I guess we can return and try the other dishes based on the value...

A more upper market seafood restaurant. Their menu is extensive, preparing seafood in different ways. Service was prompt and kind. Food arrived quickly, whilst the portions were quite large. Upon ordering you have the option to order smaller or larger sizes depending on the size of the fish I assume. You might need to reserve your place sooner, when we were there on saturday evening.
