ZERO Star – DANGER TO CHILDREN – AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST
THIS FACILITY IS A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD FOR CHILDREN. My 18-month-old son was viciously bitten by an off-leash dog inside this so-called “petting zoo”—an outrageous and unacceptable failure to protect visitors. The zoo absurdly claims the dog was a “stray,” yet staff showed me the rabies vaccine booklet. If it truly were a stray, why do they have any medical documentation at all? Even worse, I personally witnessed employees freely interacting with this dog and allowing it to roam among staff—completely contradicting their “stray” excuse.
After my son was bitten, staff just stood there watching him cry. No one offered any help or brought anything to treat the wound. I had to beg them for an alcohol swab, and after a 5-minute delay, they finally brought some hand sanitizer gel—totally inappropriate for a dog bite.
What made me even more furious was the apathy from both staff and the supervisor. They showed zero care or concern, didn’t offer to help get a car to the hospital, nor did they offer any compensation or support. When I asked for a contact number to follow up, they were reluctant to provide it. Their indifference and refusal to assist only added to my distress and anger.
No supervisor arrived for over 20 minutes, and staff didn’t even know how to contact one. Their immediate reaction was to deny ownership instead of checking on my injured child. When the supervisor finally appeared, she coldly refused to accept responsibility and offered zero apology. Their only concern was shifting blame, not helping a traumatized baby.
My son was left deeply traumatized and rushed to the hospital, where he received four emergency shots with seven more injections pending. The medical bill alone was 10,000 baht. This horrific health risk was caused entirely by gross negligence—allowing an unleashed, dangerous dog to roam freely where children play.
Their later claim that my toddler “grabbed the back of the dog’s neck” is a blatant lie and a disgraceful attempt to blame a baby for their failure. No excuse justifies an uncontrolled dog biting a child. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE—PERIOD.
We have visited over 10 petting farms and zoos in the Chiangmai area, and my son knows exactly how to safely interact with animals. This is, without question, the WORST managed and most DANGEROUS facility we have ever encountered. Parents: DO NOT RISK YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY HERE. Spend your money and time at trustworthy, well-run places instead.
Furthermore, many animals are confined in tiny, cramped cages and show clear signs of distress. This raises severe ethical concerns about their welfare.
I issue a STRONG WARNING to all parents: DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Please share this review widely to protect other families from this dangerous...
Read morePlease, avoid this place. Let's not support animal abuse. This is a small garden or yard with caged animals, staying in abhorrent conditions. The capybara is held in a tiny cage, it can barely move. The same goes for all other animals. The prairie dog was in a tiny enclosure with no place to hide, the hamster was alone in a hot cage, the turtles were crammed on top of each other in a small wooden crate. Sad, heartbreaking, downright illegal. We only stopped by on the way from the POOPOOPAPER park, an actual ecofriendly place, bought two sets of foods to see what and how the animals are treated and left within minutes. Please, let's stop supporting...
Read moreThere are many animals, and the little monkey is kept in a cage and cannot be fed.In the store, you can buy vegetable leaves for the water dolphins to eat, but they don't interact with people very much. The water dolphins and raccoons are in the same cage, and the staff will take you to the cage after buying vegetable leaves. You can also interact with the raccoons together. When I went there, there were two raccoons, one male and one female. Hu Meng has two areas where he can go in and feed after buying food. I also fed a few little rabbits in a cage, and anyone who likes them can...
