although we already live 6 years in Mae Rim, this was the first time we visited this restaurant. And it will also be the last time. What was wrong that I don't want to go here anymore. Everything. It promotes itself as Italian restaurant. But 1/2 of the very small menu was sold out. No pizza, no meat and no fish. Very disappointing. We only could order very limted choice and finally ordered 1 x Ceasar Salad, Pasta Bolognese, spaghetti and some softdrinks. The first that came was the Pasta Bolognese. A very small portion. Secondly came the spaghetti and a few minutes later the Ceasar salad, which is a starter ! That should have come first. We were already 5 minutes eating as the soft drinks came. 1023 thb we payed at the end and we were still hungry. The portions were much to small. I am very sorry, but when you promote your restaurant and think your Pizza's are the best, why you not have then. No excuse possible. There is just one solution : we don't go...
Read moreVery positiv surprise! We were visiting Poopoopaper park near by and the kids got very hungry. I was sceptical as I saw that the closest restaurant was an Italian restaurant in the "middle of the jungle". But our hunger won and we ended up walking 2 minutes to get there. The place was lovely and the shade from the many trees allowed us to sit outside. The staff was very friendly and attentive, but the most positive surprise was the food and the quality of presentation. From large amalfino lemons to san pelligrino sparkling water everything was how you would expect im a good Italian place in the city. The highlight was the Thai Sausage Pizza which was absolutely delicious and came freshly baked out of the oven right beside us. What a lovely fusion between a crispy crust, soft center and that typical Thai explosive taste. If you are with kids then Le Petit Zoo is right beside the restaurant to entertain the kids while you wait for your food. Highly...

It was only after I mentioned a few times how clean it all was, that he confessed that he spends a lot of time everyday to rake the floor. I understood in that moment, that the simplest of things can be turned into art.
He told me he made the pizza oven himself. My eyes were filled with a question mark, he read my mind and answered, “I learnt it on YouTube.” Wow, just wow! I had learned so many things in the last ten years off the internet too.
