Pete Croissanterie — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

I do not really like to make low reviews, but I went to the shop on a whim because the picture on gmap shows croissants that look similar to those in the bakery of my small village. The shop, the employees, the service is great nothing to say about that. And the products look gorgeous.

However, 75 baht (almost 2 euros) for a plain croissant is far overpriced. Moreover, the product itself is not perfect aside from the outside feuilletage. I do not get that strong butter taste nor the inside texture bread feeling of the croissant. Second point, I do not know what would justify selling a plain madeleine for 60 baht.

There are competitors in the city that sell croissants, surely less beautiful but somehow with better taste for a much more reasonable price. i am not one of them and i would not mentionned any of them. I am sorry for that review, I hope the...

ขนมอร่อยเหมือนเดิม กินมาตั้งแต่สมัยต้องสั่งจองเป็นเดือน ๆ แต่ Service แย่ลงเยอะมาก

จองขนมผ่าน Line Official วัน ศ ที่ 18 ช่วงบ่ายเลือกนัดรับขนมวัน ส 19 เพราะเห็นคิวว่าง ในการจองระบุเวลาให้รับขนมได้ตั้งแต่ 12.00-15.30 วัน ส ไปรับขนมราว 12.00 พอดีตามระบุ มี พนง. 1 คนที่เครื่องคิดเงินรับลูกค้าก่อนหน้า ส่วน พนง. ที่เหลือมัวแต่ Happy Birthday พนง. อีกคนในร้าน ยืนรอสักพักก็ไม่มี พนง. สนใจถามว่ามาทำอะไร (ซื้อหน้าร้าน หรือรับขนมจอง) จนต้องบอกว่ามารับขนมที่จองไว้ เปิด Order ที่จองไว้ให้ดู พนง. ดูเลข Order แล้วก็ไปพึ่งจัดขนมให้ !!! ยังไม่พอจัดขนมเสร็จเอามาให้ พอเช็คดูให้ขนมมาไม่ครบตาม Order ที่สั่งไว้อีก Order ไว้มี Matcha Basque Croissant, Tea-ramisu, Upside down banana cake และ Egg tart 2 รวม 5 ชิ้น เช็คที่แปะกับถุงมาระบุแค่ Total 3 เลยต้องถามตัวย่อแต่ละตัวที่แปะไว้คืออะไร สรุปจัดใส่ถุงมาไม่ใส่ Egg Tart มาให้ ถ้าลูกค้ารีบ ๆ ไม่มีเวลาเช็คก่อนออกจากร้านมาคือต้องเสียเวลากลับมาอีกรอบ เพื่อตามขนมที่ควรจะได้เหรอ???

ถ้าระบบจองขนมไว้แล้วพอตอนไปรับต้องมารอ พนง. มาจัดขนมให้อีกแนะนำว่าเอาออกไปเถอะครับ ส่วนเรื่องจะ Surprise วันเกิด พนง. ด้วยกันอะไรก็ควรทำช่วงก่อนเปิดร้าน หรือหลังร้านปิด ไม่ใช่ช่วงเปิดร้านที่มีลูกค้าเข้ามาใช้บริการ ถ้าต้องรอคิวเพราะลูกค้าก่อนหน้าเยอะยังโอเคกว่าต้องมารอ พนง. พร้อมบริการเพราะมัวแต่ Surprise วันเกิด + ถ่ายรูปกัน

ปล. Egg Tart ตอนจองระบุว่าขอเป็น Original + Pandan อย่างละ 1 แต่ได้มาแค่ Original ไม่แน่ใจว่าได้อ่านรายละเอียด Order ลูกค้ามั้ย ถ้าไม่ทำ Pandan แล้วก็ควรเอาออกจากคำบรรยายเมนูในตอนจองด้วยครับ และควรแจ้งหรือขอโทษลูกค้าตอนไปรับด้วยว่าไม่ได้รสชาตินี้เพราะอะไร...

I ordered it online, waited so long that I went to Paris to eat good croissants. A month after I got back from Paris, they texted me and let me know that it’s finally my turn to receive their products. 😅

It was good, crispy and satisfying. They use French butter. But like all French food in Thailand, it’s a lot more buttery than what you would get from a good croissant in France.
