maybe you heard about really famous southern thai food restaurant named "Madae Slow Fish Kitchen" located near old city. actually they offers southern thai food, and this restaurant is defenitely superior than that!

You should order slowly-braised pork belly with sweet sauce and sour & spicy sea bass stew. I guess these dishes are kind of signature menus of this restaurant. pork belly is so tender and full of meaty flavor and sea bass stew is pretty spicy and really nice!

delighted to have discovered this southern-style restaurant. The moment you step inside, you’re enveloped by the familiar aroma of smelly beans, which is used in southern Thai cuisine.

The food lived up to expectations. The curry was spot-on, the vegetables and shrimp chili were delicious, and the chili is quite spicy. Every dish was authentic and well-prepared.
