The most significant coffee roaster in CR to my knowledge. Founder based in BKK. Very successful operation.

Deliberately stark, warehouse feel (Melbourne style) with enough parking and seating for busy afternoon times. Mornings are quieter. High chairs need a higher footrest ;-).

Haven't tried all the different roasts yet but the medium "house" blend from Doi Chang (specific farm not disclosed) is well balanced with a nice dark cocoa and dark spice character. Their turnover is obviously high enough to guarantee fresh roasted beans consistently, unlike many of the artisanal cafes around.

Baristas are well trained and pretty consistent, although my preference is one the morning baristas who is spot on with extraction and texture.

Retail beans are on the expensive side. Local beans up there...

I came here because I wanted to try coffee in different coffee roasteries in Chiang Rai. When I asked the cashier if they had any natural coffees she denied and told me, that they only offer their own blend of different coffees. From a fancy roastery I expected to have a big choice of single origin coffees from washed to natural. But okay, I wanted to drink coffee, so I ordered a flat white. The coffee tasted really good, they know what they are doing. So if you're looking for a really good standard coffee like flat white, cappuccino, and so on this is a good place for you. But if you are looking for specialty coffee you should try one of the other roasteries...
