Book’s Cafe & Bistro Chiangrai — Restaurant in Chiang Rai Province

Where there for happy hour, the place is beautiful and have A/C and nice patio outside. Drinks are not good, the always use the same amount of alcohol less than a jigger, for example: Cosmopolitan was 2 full jiggers of heavy (with pulp) cranberry juice and not a full jigger of vodka and that’s it, a glass of cranberry juice with vodka. In other words you pay too much for drinks that are not made quite right. In my opinion to expensive for Thailand (charge USA prices) and on top of that, they don’t accept credit card.

I found this restaurant in calm street area near my hotel , it’s working more late than others restaurants nearby. Nice live music , good atmosphere and style, prices are really good and they work on details : serving was fast, very polite and friendly . Food on plate remind me art of high level restaurants just taste was a bit less than I expected. Steak was with some some of fat which should be removed and vegetables “al Dente” was more fresh than should be . But I really had nice dinner . Thank you guys...

The ambiance, coupled with the delicious food and exceptional service, made for a truly enjoyable evening. This restaurant is undoubtedly a gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.
