Food felt very inauthentic, the reviews all praising it are likely westerners who enjoyed the western ‘twist’ put on the food. It felt very much like a English owned restaurant trying to be Thai (or with a western chef) or a Thai restaurant that has gone way too far towards commercialisation. My friend ordered the same dish as me and it arrived very different and paled in comparison to the Khao Soi we had the day before for a third of the price. Prices were much higher than traditional places and food didn’t feel like it was made with the same love or techniques or ingredients in some areas. The atmosphere was strange as the room was very large and echoey and there was a strange smell that made us choose to sit outside, nothing like any real Thai places has smelt like so far. The food here isn’t terrible just uninspired. Can’t fault the service too much other than just one member of staff who disappeared into the back most the time we were there.

I’d avoid and go somewhere cheaper for...

My sister and I came here today for lunch, the reviews looked so good so we trusted the food was good. We ate most of the food mainly because we were hungry but to be honest although it was decent it is not worth the price (this was our most expensive meal in Thailand so far and not even close to the best). Price definitely doesn’t reflect quality or service. And although the teenage boys in charge of front of house were polite and nice one of them started sweeping the floor of the restaurant while 3 tables were eating, I have worked in hospitality and this is something you shouldn’t do. The presentation of the dishes is good but it’s more looks than flavour, I think everything we had is probably worth 50 THB less than the asking price. I didn’t get photos of the other 2 dishes which were papaya salad and a stir fry with pork. In conclusion, if you enjoy food and want an authentic experience never trust a place where the...

We came here after seeing all the good reviews, but we must have been unlucky. We came 1h and a bit before closing time. We asked whether we can stay at an outside table (some customers had just left). They said yes and that they will come to clear a table for us. We waited 20 minutes, and still no sign that we’ll be seated soon. When we got up to walk away, she came and asked whether we can sit inside instead. We agreed and were finally seated. After we ordered, it took like 30 minutes for the food to arrive (we noticed that everyone was getting their food pretty late). When it finally came, we were rather disappointed in the taste. Vegetables were not cooked as they should and the taste was pretty bland. Not worth the...

We nearly passed this place by because the atmosphere is so bright white, almost sterile in appearance, BUT we are so glad we didn't. After spending three weeks in various regions of Thailand, this meal is in our top three of all time. The flavors were so complex and layered. The presentation was gorgeous--much more so than the photos on the menu. We already knew the word AROI (delicious), but after our first bites here, we had to learn a new term: AROI MA (very delicious). Do yourself a favor and eat here. The prices are really quite reasonable, too.
