Porwa Farm — Restaurant in Chiang Rai Province

This is a Zen vibe restaurant. As soon as you walk in, you are thinking “Am I in the forest?”. To me personally, the appearance of the trees is comforting, delightful, and healing. The pond, birds, and rabbits (if I remembered it correctly) add so much beauty to the landscape here. I was impressed! We sat down, ordered, ate, and paid. The food was good. The servers were attentive. I just thought it would have been a better restaurant if the menu & the napkin holders were cleaner. They were pretty dirty. You already have such a good food; why not making sure your hygiene is superb too! The restroom should be separated men and women. The floor was wet and it was dark inside. There was hand soap provided which I really appreciated BUT no paper towel or hand dryer?

I’m not complaining. I like the food and the atmosphere but there is a lot that is not functioning optimally and could be enhanced.

We witnessed one incident before we left. There was a family leaving the restaurant and the old lady (maybe in her 70s) who walked right into the glass door as we were all in the AC room. She bang her forehead and her knee REALLY HARD to that glass door. Everyone heard that loud noise! Shockingly NONE of the restaurant employees or even the owner (I guess she was there) said anything or rushed to see how she was or even asked if the old lady was okay. The whole room was a complete silence. I thought to myself “WOW! this is how this restaurant was going to react?!” SO I asked the old lady from my table because I was at the table nearest to the door. Are you okay?! Her daughter rushed to the door and checked on her and they left! Oh when I thought about it, before this incident happened as this family was leaving, nobody said “Thank You!” as well after they paid their meal.

Hmm! What kind of service is this? Although your food and your ambience are good, but after what I just saw today, I will not be coming back to this place. If the owner ever read this review, I hope you immediately and seriously review your ethical strategy, otherwise I guarantee you that your business wont last long....

ร้านอาหารสำหรับครอบครัว อยู่ในโซนตัวเมืองเชียงราย ห่างจากแยกศรีทรายมูลไม่ไกล ทางเข้ามาตาม map สังเกตไม่ยาก . ซอยค่อนข้างแคบ ระมัดระวังเรื่องรถที่สวนกัน แต่รถไม่เยอะมากครับ . จุดเด่นร้านที่ชอบมากคือ "ความร่มรื่น" ทั้งต้นไม้ที่เยอะมากๆ ได้ร่มเงา การจัดมีบ่อน้ำตลอดพื้นที่ที่นั่งทานอาหาร ปลาคาร์ฟว่ายไปมา น้ำตกและละอองน้ำจาก foggy .. นั่งทานอาหาร ฟังเสียงน้ำตก ดูปลาว่ายไปมา ก็ชิลมากแล้วครับ . ทางร้าน เปิดเพลงบรรเลงคลอเบาๆ กับพัดลมเสริมให้ช่วงกลางวันที่อากาศร้อนครับ . zone ที่นั่ง มี 2 ชั้น แต่วันที่มาปิดชั้นบนนะครับ อาจจะเนื่องจากมากลางวัน อากาศร้อนมาก ชั้นล่างมีอีก 2 zone ย่อย คือ indoor กับ outdoor ครับ / ไม่ได้ถ่าย zone indoor มาให้เพราะคนเต็มด้านในครับ

มีบริการมีทั้งอาหาร เครื่องดื่มและกาแฟ ไอศครีมครับ เพิ่งมาครั้งแรกสั่งไม่กี่อย่าง โดยรวมรสชาติดีครับ . มีไก่ทอดที่แข็งไปหน่อยครับ . ความเร็วในการเสริฟอาหารก็ถือดีเลยครับ ไม่รอนาน . เมล็ดกาแฟ เป็นแบบคั่วกลาง-คั่วเข้ม ครับ . ผักสลัด ปลูกแบบ hydroponics มีแปลงเล็กๆ ให้ชมบริเวณทางเข้าร้านจากที่จอดรถครับ

ที่ชอบอีกอย่าง คือ การจัดตกแต่งสวนที่สวยงาม เป็นระเบียบเรียบร้อย ทางเดินเรียบ มีการติดป้ายบอกชื่อต้นไม้ และ QR code...

Amazing setting with so much going for it, yet an opportunity wasted as milk alternatives not available and iced lemon tea served in unsustainable plastic container. Not expected from an organic and deemed to be health conscious restaurant. But the setting is well worth the visit for sure and it will take very very little to bump up...
