Mamma Mia Grill & Restaurant Bangtao — Restaurant in Choeng Thale

We came with our family and with our 1 year old child. We ask the worker outside if it would be possible to turn Fan on which was Switched offed in that moment (the restaurant only had 2 customers). He shakes with his head with a unhappy face and turned it on in our Direction. After some minutes he smoke cigarettes in front of the restaurant and than he just turn the Fan away from us and back to himself and fix the position to his side because he felt Hot, without asking us or provide another Fan which stands in other corners. I mean if they would not have fans it would be also ok but when they have and worker use them for themselves instead of providing them to the customers than something went wrong in here. We stay in Phuket since 8 weeks and this is the first Restaurant where the 2 workers outside were very unfriendly so i can not recommend this restaurant, the food was not bad but also nothing special. There are much better options with friendly stuff...

Prices are a bit higher here, but it's justified, because the quality, especially when it comes to the meat is much better!

Friendly staff. Nice interior. Everything looked and felt "exclusive".

The only letdown was the corn, which was boiled instead of grilled. It was watery with no taste.

The kids menu had a good selection and was priced really good. My son told us that the meat balls tasted like the ones at home.

They also have pizza promotions during lunch. A big pizza for 200 Baht. I was not a fan tho. The pizza bread tasted like cardboard. And the overall taste...

Another little gem in Bang Tao. So quiet in the off season so would love to see more people enjoying this place for lunch or dinner as the service is brilliant, the food yummy and the hospitality typical Thai - fantastic! The run a special promotion at the moment with a lot of really delicious meals only costing 105 baht (photos of menu attached). We had the Chicken Cashew nut and a Curry - brilliant! And a lot nicer than in other restaurants in the area. We asked for a Liverpool game to be put on and also Australian Football League. They literally have all international sports channels you can think of and are happy to pop it on for you when...
