We were on holiday for 2 weeks with my wife. When we booked our room we asked for an upgrade to be sure to have a decent room. Arriving at the hotel they gave us a room hidden 50m from the hotel. The room was dirty, smelly and the bathroom was lamentable, the cleaning ladies would only swipe the floor and no more. Sand brought from the beach into our room was never cleaned. But we went over this and not let it ruin our stay. Food was a little above medium. They have a buffet restaurant with a different theme every night which makes it a little diverse for the first week. But then when you are in for two weeks it roles over again. They have also a restaurant à la carte where you have to reserve as only 10 people from all inclusive are allowed to eat there per day. But the only time we ate there my wife got food poisoned. She had shrimps and rise and another person also seating next to us fall from her chair and had the ambulance taken her to the hospital. She was also poisoned but because waiters were using barehands. I also so this at the main bar the servers were taking ice cubes bare hands and put it in the drinks. This is negligent for the health of customers as 1000 bacterias are put a live in the drinks. When I saw this I talked to the manager and they fixed it the day after. Everyone was wearing gloves at the bar. Talking about the manager of the restaurant mister Danny, me and my wife were having dinner at the buffet and he came to bring drinks to our table. He asked us how is everything and he said if we were looking for a guide he would be able to help us. We told him we were gonna rent a car. He said do not rent it yourself he will go for us to get the local price and not the tourists price. We agreed and he came 10 times asking me if we were still ok with the deal him renting the car for us. The night before the trip he came and asked us if he could take his wife and son with and we were fine with it. So the day of the trip he came to pick us up at the hotel his son was already with him and he said we go get his wife home. When her wife came in the car we right the way understood it was not a rented car but their own car as she knew where everything in the car was. So they just pretended their car was a rented car and they charged us same price as companies would. But aside that we had a good time apart from the AC who killed us. All in all I would just say servers at the buffet are on top but at the bars ( main and by the pool) not terrible as they are arrogant and expect tips on every order. So if you order 50 drinks a day it would cost you 50$ on tips only more than the price of drinks itself. All in all it was a nice stay with little bumps here and their. Ooooh one more thing if the hotel reads it we are in Thailand so why is there more pizzas served than pad Thai? And the salad and fruits buffet find a way to...
Read moreFirstly I must say how fantastic Cha (chadix maraña) the barman is he really made our holiday awesome, relaxing and enjoyable (he really deserves a pay rise or a management position) he is one of the reasons we will be returning to Thailand. The rest of the staff from the bar, reception and the restaurant were all really friendly, helpful and made us laugh everytime we seen them especially Tone and Ging, I stayed in room number 5402 which was great as it's on the top floor so I got a great range of views of the pool, beach and sea as well as the surrounding Thai hills etc. The other nice thing was that we were away from the main pool and entertainment area so it was always nice and quiet. The entertainment team were great and aways tried there best to get everyone involved and having fun, I even ended up singing karaoke. We rented scooters for 9 days at 2000 baht which was a much more cost effective solution than getting tuk tuks everywhere at the cost of 1200 baht return to the nearest town. We got the scooters and booked all our trips outside the hotel (which was much cheaper) from a lady called Lee just round the corner from the hotel, mention Simon sent you! If you fancy a night out but don't want to go far the Orange Corner Bar where Cha took us is brilliant, fun, cheap and its just over the road from where we got our trips plus you can stream your own music from YouTube to the play in the Bar which was really cool and also they serve international alcohol there. The hotel itself was great with a lovely setting and right on the beach which had amazing views and you must watch the sunset it's magical, the rooms were always cleaned to a high standard with fresh towels and bed sheets everyday, all the staff were amazing and want to do everything for you! Which is great as you can just relax. Finally the hotels all inclusive is great lots of things to eat and drink including beer, cocktails, soft drinks, and milkshakes even iced coffees. my advice is to try everthing, breakfast is awesome with everything you could possibly want! There's a great bar menu free if your all inclusive and we even had steak, kebabs and king prawns a few nights, all meal times had a chef on hand to cook you anything you wanted on the grill right in front of you, if I had to mention anything it's that the menu's for lunch and dinner should not be the same each week and the mini bar in your room should be free but there just suggestions. I have no issues and no complaints, So overall I'm extremely happy and pleased with everything and now I'm certainly in love with Thailand, I would definitely come back and I would definitely stay in the best western again. I also recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Phuket. Thank you Best Western Premier hotel for a...
Read moreI was disappointed by the hotel's apparent lack of consideration, seemingly prioritizing profits over customer satisfaction. I won't be returning, nor will I recommend it to friends.Despite multiple attempts to book a room at this hotel through the Trip website in February, specifically from the 14th to the 20th.I found no availability. When I finally spotted an available slot and promptly made a reservation and payment, I was elated. However, my excitement quickly faded when, a week later, while preparing to book my flights, I realized the booking was mistakenly made for the 14th to the 20th, but in December. In a rush, I reached out to the website seeking assistance in rectifying the error. They indicated that changes and refunds were possible but required the hotel's agreement. It turned out to be a great time to spend New Year's Eve by a beautiful beach with family from all over the world, we set off from France and our family from China. It turned out that the hotel took the money and did not say anything. Next time I won't choose this hotel that only thinks about making money and I don't recommend it.All I can say is that we shouldn't put too much trust in high technology, big data, push information and the service spirit of hotels, they are just insensitive businesses.Originally wanted to reunite with the family over the Spring Festival holiday on the beautiful beaches, we come from all corners of the world there are France and China to meet on the island of Bali, but can only regret to pay double the price.Moving forward, I will reconsider choosing this hotel that seemingly prioritizes monetary gain over customer care. This experience has made me question the reliability of advanced technology, extensive data, promotional information, and the service ethos of hotels, which sometimes appear to prioritize business over sensitivity...
