RUDE AND UNWELCOMING STAFF !!!

I visited this coffee shop for the first time, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. As I entered, the staff did not greet me or respond when I said hello, which already gave off an unwelcoming vibe.

I was with my 2-year-old and asked if they had fresh milk. While they didn’t, the staff kindly offered a plastic cup with milk for 50 THB, which I appreciated. However, when I asked if I could pay immediately (as I was managing my child and wanted to sit outside), the staff member responded in a very rude manner, saying, “Can you please pay later when your order is done? You see, I have a lot to do. You can take a toy and take her to play,” with an unnecessary attitude.

Good customer service is not just about serving drinks; it’s about creating a welcoming atmosphere. A simple greeting and a polite response go a long way. I chose to cancel my order and leave. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for...

I have to share our experience today at Take and Wake. Outdoor seating in beautiful greenery and colourful flowers.

I ordered the Thai Hot Pot and it was delicious. First, a claypot filled with tasty hot broth flavoured with lemongrass, galangal and lime leaves was brought to the table. Then a platter of vegetables consisting of corn, morning glory, Chinese cabbage, glass noodles, Thai holy basil, carrots, an egg and edible flowers from the garden was served. After that came a very generous portion of the freshest prawns and squid and tofu and you DIY cook everything in the hot boiling broth. We also ordered the massaman and roti and a satisfying bowl of wanton soup. Perfect for a rainy Phuket day

With a large menu serving breakfast, lunch and dinner., we can’t wait to go back to try everything else on the menu.. I highly recommmend...

It's a very cozy cafe with few tables hidden in a garden. The are just 5 or 6 of them, so it can't accommodate too many visitors, but all tables are distanced from each other so you can have a really peaceful breakfast or brunch. It's by the road, which makes it easy to find, but being cut from the road only by bushes and shrubs makes all passing trucks audible. Hmmm.. what else? Music is very nice here. Light, not annoying, no pop songs you here in every beach cafe, english mostly. Better go here if you have a very "sabai" mood and cam wait your coffe for another minute. They seem to be short on stuff or a familybusiness, so there are just 2 friendly girls...
