The best place to eat Thai food in Bangkok if you considered the warmth of the owner as an important aspect of the culinary experience.
I really loved their Tom Yam! Madam Apple (the owner) kept on saying it's spicy, but it was not spicy at all for me (a fellow South East Asian).
The place felt like home, where I could hear her son/daughter playing 90's music, and sit next to her watching a horror movie on Netflix.
Madam Apple can speak English really well. She would love to chit chat with you and recommend the dish for you if you are on your first time in Thailand.
She also has a small guesthouse in the back/upper part of the restaurant. Too bad I have booked another guesthouse. I would definitely stay in her guesthouse if I happened to visit...

This is exactly what we have been looking for in Bangkok in the last few days - home made tranditional & delicious Thai food ❤️ we were disappointed in many other places, but here, mama Apple's food met all our expectations - amazing!!
It is a bit pricy by Thai local price, but it's worth every penny I can guarantee (we have paid more in other places and only got just ok food).
And a huge plus is that Apple is such a friendly, nice and welcoming person (we are staying at her homestay as well). She loves cooking and makes customers happy!!
If I am in Bangkok next time, I'll for sure take a taxi here just to eat her...

My favorite was the Black Pepper Tiger Shrimp, but the Thai Chicken Green Curry was a close second. The menu is extensive, so there is something for everyone, even vegetarians and vegans. The food is also extremely fresh, as I even had the pleasure of accompanying Apple to the market where she bought groceries for her meals. I also learned she offered cooking classes too! I’m convinced if she were to ever put out a cookbook it’d be a best seller! Try the fresh squeezed juices, my personal favorite was the sweet...
