Chaozhou hotpot - Lert Lert — Restaurant in Huai Khwang Subdistrict

Firstly, I am not Thai – I’m a Vietnamese citizen. Secondly, I’m not the type to write reviews, nor am I someone who usually complains. But in this case, I feel it’s important to speak up.

I visited this restaurant and was initially greeted in Thai. I politely responded in English and even apologized, as I don’t speak Thai. Despite this, a female staff member continued to treat me with an incredibly rude attitude. She ignored me repeatedly when I asked for help, looked at me with clear disgust, and made no effort to understand me—even though I was using a translator (ChatGPT) to try and communicate respectfully.

When she did respond, her behavior was unprofessional, dismissive, and made it feel like serving me was a burden. As a paying customer, that’s unacceptable.

To be fair, the buffet itself was decent. The price was reasonable for the quality of meat. But the level of customer service—particularly from that one waitress—was absolutely appalling. Because of that, I won’t...

Awesome cut on the spot non frozen beef. This is how they do it back in China! Mala is a bit bland at the beginning but half way through the flavour evolves. The drinks and ice cream is included! Very fresh ingredients and quick service. Have many variety of beef cuts. I would say good value for money at that price. Again this is not for the folks that expect the thinly slice frozen meat shabu. There is a tad more bite to it but its still definitely a must try for hotpot...

Very nice shabu restaurant down on Ratchadaphisek road. The buffet cost Baht 699++ but I think a la carte is a better option. I went with my girlfriend and ordered 3 beef menus and 1 vegetables plate and water which a total bill of around Baht 800 (soup cost extra Baht 100 though).
